The Trading App presents you with many different views in order to accomplish a particular task. This page describes the available views and how to access them:
Presents a list of the most popular markets to trade and includes live streaming buy and sell prices for each market. This is the default view you see when you login to the Trading App.
How to access: tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar to display the Options Menu, then tap Markets.
Enables you to place a trade on the selected market with attached stop loss or take profit limit orders if required.
How to access: when in List mode from the Markets, Search markets or Watch List views tap the [Trade] button for the required market. When in Box mode from the Markets, Search markets or Watch List views tap the [Buy] or [Sell] button of the market you want to trade. In the Detailed View, tap the [Trade] button.
Enables you to place orders on the selected market such as opening, closing and one cancels the other (OCO) orders. Also used to modify existing orders.
How to access: from the Detailed View, tap the [Order] button. Alternatively, from the detailed chart in portrait orientation with trade buttons panel enabled, tap the [Order] button. Finally, from the All Orders view, tap the bar displaying the order to modify.
Presents detailed and specific information on the selected market such as the spread, minimum and maximum trade sizes.
How to access: from the Detailed View, tap the [Market Info] button.
Search facility where you can look for a specific market that you want to trade (see Search for a Market for usage instructions).
How to access: from the Markets view, tap the [Search] tab.
Shows a mini chart and the live prices for a market together with several controls enabling you to perform actions such as adding the market to a Watchlist.
How to access: when in List mode, from the Markets, Search markets or Watch List views tap the bar displaying the required market. When in Box mode, from the Markets or Watch List views tap the name bar of the required market.
Presents a list of all your open positions.
How to access: tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar to display the Options Menu, then tap Positions.
Shows more detailed information about the selected open position.
How to access: from the Positions view, tap the bar displaying the required market.
Shows information about all closing orders that are attached to the selected open position.
How to access: from the Single Position view, tap the [Closing Orders] button.
Enables you to place stop loss or take profit closing orders on the selected market.
How to access: from the Orders On Position view, tap the [+] button.
Shows a list of all your active entry and closing orders.
How to access: tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar to display the Options Menu, then tap Orders.
Presents all the markets in the selected watchlist. All your watchlists are shown as tabs in this view.
How to access: tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar to display the Options Menu, then tap Watchlists.
A historical list of the trades you have placed in this account. You can see more detailed information about a historical trade by tapping it in the list. You can configure the number of historical trades displayed in this list by using the Settings.
How to access: tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar to display the Options Menu, then tap History.
Shows a historical list of the orders you have placed in this account. Tap an order in this list to see more detailed information about it. You can configure the number of historical orders displayed in this list by using the Settings.
How to access: tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar to display the Options Menu, then tap History followed by Order History tab.
Presents a list of the most recent financial and economic news headlines.
How to access: see the View Streaming News topic for instructions.
Shows the full news story of the selected news headline.
How to access: from the News view, tap the news headline of the story you wish to view.
